Hello - I just purchased HTMLPad.
Here's something to make the probability stronger in "probably the best HTML Editor":
+ I cannot assign Ctrl+Enter for <br> or Ctrl+Space for !!!
Does it only take Shift+Key ?
+ Middle mouse button support for scroll
+ Control+wheelmouse scroll = horizontal scroll
+ Special keys for autocomplete (a la visual studio, like space key, not just [Enter] and then type...)
+ Optionally disable space after colon in CSS
+ Optionally disable extra line after closing '}' in css
+ Control+B (or corresponding kbrd shortcut) should do "font-weight:bold;" in CSS documents or tags
+ Switch back and forth between HTML Edit and HTML Preview with configurable accesskey (Alt+S for ex.), because once focus is on HTML Page, control PageDown/Up resumes the default behavior in Internet Explorer. Besides, control page down forces you to move your fingers away from the central keyboard, unlike something like Alt+S
+ Bookmarks like most programming editors: Ctrl+F2 for toggle, Shift+F2 for previous, F2 for next. Not only configurable kbrd shortcut, but also doesn't monopolize different keyboard shortcuts. Also, doesn't limit the number of bookmarks to 10.
+ Autocomplete for CSS Values, and for HTML Attribute Values: <input type="[text/password/checkbox/...]" - would save a lot of typing.
