I found that is easy to add objects to the object viewer (and Auto Complete feature) simply editing some .ini files (mainly javascr.ini).
My objective is to use HTMLPad as a development tool for an extended javascript interpreter used on my Company's products (to develop interfaces and applications running on specialized Windows C terminals) and this is very useful but I miss a function that could be decisive in the choice of your product.
Basically I need to receive messages from an external application and show them in HTMLpad's 'Messages' window (just like Tidy does...); more generally it could be interesting to have an interface that permits to write 'plug-ins' (in form of dll or exe files) that could take inputs from HTMLpad and send output to 'Messages' (or a new 'Output' as requested somewhere in this forum...).
Another improvement could be the possibility to extend the extension/association library to not standard file types and, consequently, the possibilty to define new classes of objects described with separates .ini files managed as the standard ones.
Let me know if someone else could be interested in such expansion.
Thank you for your attention
