PHP template files (HTML-code with the extension *.tpl) should be handled like *.html in the preview, when the extensions is registered as HTML document type in tools/preferences (see Alleycode HTML editor).
In WeBuilder it works while editing, but in the preview there is always plain text visible. See my request in WeBuilder Support too.
