Auto substitution of html special chars

Postby StickGrinder » Mon Mar 21, 2005 1:42 pm

I didn't find any topic about that so here is my own.
I was used to work with Macromedia HomeSite+ and it have a very nice feature: auto substitution of html special chars while typing.
For example, character

ĆØ

will become

è

automatically when it is typed. I tried generic auto-subtitution found in options menu in RapidPHP but it only works if I insert a spacing character (space, tab or so) after the special char I would like to be substituted. No other way to have it automatically changed.

Thanks a lot! Bye bye!

I'm afraid I do not fully understand the requirement.
