every web browser has this as well as many windows applications. Please add keyboard shortcut CTRL+W to close the current document.

options > keyboard shortcuts! then search for "close" and set ctrl+w to that command. done.

It's a very nice feature that the program allows us to change all the keyboard shorcuts. I changed Ctrl+H to launch "Find In Files" for example, because I use that very often, and it had no default shortcut.

Do you think the keyboard shortcut dialog should have a keyboard shortcut though...
