Multi line in "Search in files"

Postby maravizzo » Fri May 13, 2005 5:47 pm

Hi,
I think the new multi-line support for search & replace is very useful: it would be great to have it in "Replace in files" too!

Thank you

That is great news! HomeSite used to be my Editor of choice, and as far as I know, I have never come across a "Search and Replace" as good as HomeSite's... you could actually paste a block of formatted text and it would match (or replace) the block of text... spaces, tabs, indents and all. Homesite languished when Macromedia bought Allaire, and now that Adobe bought Macromedia... and HomeSite being only a PC product (not a Mac version) I do not see Homesite continuing... which is also after a long search, why I bought Rapid PHP! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your feedback. We are looking towards constantly improving our products as long as people would need to edit web page code.
