Colors in the editor

Postby Grzegorz Wiktorowski » Sat Jun 18, 2005 10:48 am

I continue playing with colors in the editor. I want to change the background color from white to RGB(225, 225, 225). So I open Preferences -> Text Editor >> Colors. I don't see Background in Element list box. I try Default element. I change Background to custom 225, 225, 225 and close the dialog box. The color has been changed but HTML tags etc. keep old background color ie. white. May be I missed something but how can I change the background color for the editor in one step. Don't expect me to change the background color for all other elements. Why the are not transparent ?

This is not implemented because nobody has requested this feature, thus I suppose nobody really needs it. It is not useful to stuff software with features nobody uses or a few people only would use, because with each feature there is a setting that must be read upon startup and there must be interface for changing it, this makes the program slower. Currently there is no sufficient demand for this. If we reeive multiple requests, probably the situation would change.

Anyway the color used is not white, it is the default Windows color for text editing areas.
