Search and replace folder / site

I'd like the option to search and search and replace in specified folder or entire site.

I believe this is a very helpful tool.

From main menu: Search -> Find in Files, Search -> Replace in Files.

Why are they split into two different dialogs?
And is there a neat way to go from 'Search' to 'Search and replace' (having search-string preserved)?

They're in separate dialogs for faster access during your workflow (you can just press a single key combination (one action) to access find or replace depending on your need, instead of having to open one and then pressing some button (two actions) to access the other).
