Save to Project

Postby jstuartj » Thu May 07, 2015 9:02 pm

I would like to see a "Save To Project" - Allowing us to save the currently open document to the current project / project folder. or a "Save As to Project" that would crate a shortcut to the currently active project folder.

The problem I have now the File--> New dialog creates a file with a template, but it creates a new document that needs to be saved, so you have to navigate to the currently active project and sub-folder etc... Now windows will remember the last folder, so it a minor convenience, but it become an issues when working several projects or with files in other locations.

Also it would be nice if the File-> dialog allow you to save directly to the open project folder, or change the New File context menu in the project window to use the File --> New, Dialog that allows templates.

There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary and those who don't.
