Hi there,
first: Rapid php is in my mind the best tool I found sonce Adobe decided to change te licence modell and my DW is no longer up to date and I do not wonna rent my software, but buy it.
Questions:
Am I right if I feel sometimes autoComplete code hint is a bit slow. It just needs 1 second or more to suggest me code. Sometimes! would be great to get this fixed!
feature request:
####auto include####
There is a nice way to include CSS or other libraries into the auto complete option, by tagging those files in the project window (project properties -> library path). BUT: If I do so, those libraries are not included in to the project.
If I wonna create a script or html file: The save as dialog does not (as aspected) suggest me the Project folder, but the last used folder. Would prefer to get a suggestion to include the new file / script file into to the project folder or a sub folder of the project folder. Otherwise I might save my new file into a file far far away from my project and I will miss this online. And than - suddenly I deleted this file by accident, because it was save in a temp folder, because I was tired....
If I include a library or a file or a picture: There is correctly a link set by the Rapid php software, BUT there is no offer from Rapid PHP like: "Hey, if you wonna include that file into your project (online) I suggest you, to copy this file/picture / script into your project folder - Should I do this for you?" In my mind it would be a great great help if the program helps me to keep my project data right close to the project folder. AND even better if it would suggest this to me and to update the links to external pictures / files / scripts and so on, by its own after auto copying.
As I remember DW CS3 did this already for me. I miss this feature a lot.
##### / auto include ####
Or did I unfortunately ignored facts? = shame on me, if it so!
Errors:
If I try to set a shortcut for a line comment - it failes by using. block comment short cut works fine, line comment doesn't!
Thnak you so much for your work and the Rapid PHP program
btw: Is there no youtube channel in order to get to know your program even better? I didn't find some.
