Problem Editing GIF

Postby Dwynegen » Sun Feb 25, 2007 6:30 am

Everytime I attempt to edit this GIF image
Image

It turns out like this
Image

I am not changing anything other then deleting the previous name and adding a new one.

Any idea's why the white dots appear and the name flashes? I'm assuming it has something to do with the transparancy settings but all frames are set the same. Any ideas would be helpful.

Yes, there is some transparency issue if you open both images in EGA. However, if you convert the 'Laura' to greyscale and try to import it even into a new GIF, EGA still spplies some transparency, as if there is a global setting somewhere.

Very weird. Will have another play...

This is a transparency issue. Simply make sure the transparency is not enabled.

About Tools-Options-Tools Tab-Image Editor

Postby IIITA » Tue Jun 12, 2007 12:54 am

Though currently Easy Gif Animator v4.12 notes that default Image Editor is MS Paint, I would like to use another editing tool which can rotate image at arbitoral angle.
MS Paint is very insufficient in rotating image and can only do 90 degs or 180 degs, 270degs.

Is there any recommended Frame Editor other than MS Paint for rotaing frame at arbitoral angle ?

Or I would like you to make version up for compatibility with Corel Painter IX.5, which is my favourate GFX tool but will not recognize bmp type exported from Easy GIF Animator v4.12.

Paint shop Pro will rotate images at 0.01 degree intervals.
Old versions of this can be gotten from eBay or similar retailers.
