Parts of previous frames stay on screen during animation

Postby nicdim » Mon Aug 08, 2005 1:00 pm

Hi.
As the animation cycles through its frames, part of images from previous frames remain on screen. Is it a problem with the transparant colour etc ?

The gifs im using play without problems on windows software (ie browser / Windows picture and fax viewer etc etc)

Ive tried changing the transparent colour (it is r255,g255,b255),
also tried changing the removal method.

Is ther any help you can offer?
I have a sample gif file to send as an example if you require one.

Thanks
Nic

Most likely this is connected with Transparency and Removal Method. If you use Transparency, you must set correct Removal Method for each frame to make sure it is removed corectly befoore displaying the next frame.

I am having the same problem

With each image I try to put into the animation it comes up on top of the previous animation. It doesn't seem to matter if the images are bmp, gif, or jpg types.

I have checked to see if I had the transperency option checked in Frame Properties, but I don't have that checked.

I am using the trial version at the current time (but I will have the regular version in the future).

Is there anything else that I can try?

Thanks

rainbowdolphin,

Please make sure that ALL your frames are the SAME size (width and height). If you are not using transparency and can see parts of previous frame, most likely your last frame is smaller than previous.
