Postby Karlis » Sun May 06, 2007 6:45 pm

Hello!

Finally we have compiled WeBuilder and Rapid PHP 2007 RC (fancy name for the actual Beta). The product is available only as a 30-use Trial. Try it now as I am very interested in your comments/reports. We are planning to release final version in a couple of days, so serious bugs must be caught now :D

You can get them here (just updated today - 8th of May):
http://download.blumentals.net/webuild8.exe
http://download.blumentals.net/rapidphp8.exe (for Rapid PHP users)

Please refrain from inquiries like:
* Feature I suggested is not there!
* How do I export settings?

I am currently most interested in bugs and large usability flaws. Please report bugs, annoyances and usability flaws ONLY. Comments about already implemented interface improvements are welcome as well.

Hey Karlis!

Great job! I am using/testing v8.0 RC now. Don't see any bugs as of yet from my usage. Can't wait for the final version (This week hopefully?).

Keep up the most excellent work!

Thanks

You listed that you'd like large usability flaws / annoyances...this is one that i've noticed from 7.4

when commenting out a line in php, if the ending ?> is on the same line, it is commented out as well and thus the entire syntax highlighting is screwed up.

just something that i've noticed.

from what i've seen however, i'm a HUGE fan of the new features and bug fixes....outstanding work....this is hands down the best editor i've ever used or seen.

thanks for an amazing product.
