Sveiki,

And for our non-Latvian friends...

Hello,
I used this great php-writing tool (rapidPHP) since the 2006 version, and still faces a "problem" that the fresh version of the program find one of the entĆ£o warez sites. (use the licensed, officially buy the version;))
This morning it was in morenews.ru. http://uploads.screenshot-program.com/m ... 474080.png

I understand that in order to learn about newer veri have this forum, but cuts into the very rare.
Whether it might be possible to make signing up for the newsletter via e-mail (there are, palaidis'm passing by?), Or program to implement automatic inspection, or because of the unavailability sveigāka version.

Sincerely,
Martin V.

Or something like that! ;)

I think a newsletter or update notice would be a great idea.

Right now I can only offer "Check for updates" from the Help menu. Newsletter is a great idea but at the present moment we do not have resources to maintain it. It is something we wish to do in the future.

How about having it do an automatic update check at a given interval that can be set?

Wouldn't it annoy us? I'm personally annoyed by windows popping up and checking for updates and bothering me in almost every application. It is individual I guess.

Anyways, we do have "improve update process" in our wishlist, so that one is on the radar even though I am not sure.

You could have it do a silent (background) automatic update check and only notify the user if there is an actual update available.

Totally agree. If you go the automatic route (certainly has its benefits), maybe just something in the lower right of the status bar?
