I want to password-protect Google Chrome, but it acts a lot differently than other applications. At first, I was confused because chrome doesn't have an .exe file in the standard program files folder. Instead, I had to navigate all the way to C:\Users\Fay\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe.
So, I protect this file, and open chrome to see what will happen. The password-protection pop-up appears, hurray! Unfortunately, google chrome is unique as a web browser in that it makes each tab a separate process. Because of this, each time I open a new tab, the password-protection window pops up again. Every time...
Is there any way to protect chrome, so it only asks for the password once? It can get pretty annoying having to type in my password every time I open a new tab.
