Internet updatable screensaver?

Greetings,

I hope you will consider an internet updatable screensaver -- it can be as simple as pulling in a set of new images so that the screensaver stays fresh. It could also use RSS to pull in news items to display on the screen.

I've been thinking of setting up a screensaver of the month club where folks would subscribe to it, but instead of forcing them to download a new screensaver every month, it would be easier to just have the screensaver pull in the images as needed.

Or if that's too difficult, is there a way to simply give the user an option to download an upgrade to his existing screensaver that will have new photos without a new installation?
