there is another method as well, if one cares to try regedit and uses WinXP

DO NOTE THAT THIS METHOD IS TEDIOUS, and all tweaks to the registry is potentially hazardous. Wasnt the case for me though.

the method is simple, you make internetprotectorservice (or how ever way inetprotect appears on ur services.msc tool) something that DCHP, TC/IP and other internet surfing programs depend on.

exactly where in the registry you do this? im NOT gonna say. find out at your own risk.
