I have installed a trial of your iNet Protector software on a dual-homed PC.
--> LAN 1 = no Internet
--> LAN 2 = Internet
The POS system software that runs on this machine requires that its TCP/IP address (LAN 1) be bound as "LANA 0". After disabling the Internet (browsing) in your iNet program, I can still freely browse to any Internet site. I suspect that your software is binding to the network card on LAN 1. Unfortunately, I don't have any hosts that I can browse to on LAN 1 and I really don't want to stop TCP/IP traffic completely on that interface because it would upset all of the POS terminals.
Assumming that the iNet Protector sofware is binding only to LAN 1, is it possible via a registry setting to select which NIC the software binds to?
Thanks,
