I use this excellent program to kick my daughter off the internet at 10:00pm. However If she is on MSN/windows live messenger at time of cut off its just reconnects although internet is disabled, and she chats all night :( How can I get this issue resolved ?

This should not be possible under normal circumstances. I just re-tested and hitting "Disable" does break Messenger session.

Please make sure that MSN Messneger is not in the list of Allowed Programs, also make sure that there is nothing in Allowed Services, Allowed Sites and Allowed IPs lists under Settings.

I have the same problem and I wrote several emails to Blumentals about it. The system tray icon is RED FLAGGED yet my daughter is still on the internet all night long, and no nothing is on the allowed check marks an everything is disabled while internet is disabled
