Postby amf » Fri Feb 08, 2008 6:59 pm

I have set up iNet using a reg key but adding a site like this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Karlis Blumentals\iNet Protector\1.0]

"ProtectedSite905"="aqa.org.uk"

though it put the deatils in the reqistry does not seem to work even after reboot. Any advice please. Thank you.

Normally you should use the settings user interface to add sites. Please take a look at the list of sites, does it include this new site, if not, please add it manually?

Thank you. The new site comes in the registry but on on the settings window. I have a lot of machines to do and I do not want to give out the password or do them all myself individually remotely by the usual method. If I could use a registry key I could get the local IT managers to do the job.

Maybe the problem is that you have "905" as your site number.
I guess the loading from registry stops at the last full site read.
So if you would have 0 - 904 sites with some value, then adding 905 would work fine, otherwise it won't work.
