We have a setup where we don't display the Inet Protector in the system tray to prevent fiddling. This works well until we need to adjust any of the settings - our workround is then to alter the 'DisplayTray' registry key value (either directly via regedit, or by .reg or batch file), reboot, and then access the menu via the tray icon. (To restore we simply uncheck the 'Display Inet Protector Icon in the System Tray' box and exit).
Is there any alternative to this method? For example, is there a keyboard shortcut sequence (eg CTR+ALT+F12) that would open the main Inet Protector window instead of having to redisplay the tray icon? Or a command prompt that could be entered in 'Run' that would execute the instruction made by clicking on the tray icon? (eg displayinet.exe?)
Be glad of any ideas.
