Temporary Disabling by a User

Postby htpd751 » Wed Dec 17, 2008 8:23 am

I have deployed iNet Protector in five laptops that are used by multiple users and are docked in cars. Internet access is restricted to a few approved sites. I have the need to allow some of the users full access of the internet. I don't want to give out the password because they should not have access to logs, configuration etc. Is there any other way to give them access?
I thought maybe they can shut down the service but when I try to do that, the start/stop/pause is greyed out. Any ideas?

This can not be done because it would defeat the purpose. At the present moment, the only way is to give the password and then later change it. Though the concept of some kind of emergency access ticket or code looks appealing and we will add it to the wishlist.
