Well I joined the forum in June 2006, so had it some time before then.

I WeBuilder after spending some time testing all sorts of editors, and eventually found it through Googling, and it worked for me better than any of the others I tried, and have stuck with it since.

I registered on the forum in 2005 and I think I was using it before then (though I used the cut down version HTMLPad in the early days). I use WeBuilder every day and love it. It's fast and the HTML5 and CSS3 support is great.

I also find that Karlis and the other developers are always responsive and will fix bugs and add commonly requested features. I always recommend the software to my friends and colleagues.

Looking forward to WeBuilder 2012! I'd like to see vendor-specific CSS3 tags added (eg -webkit, -mozilla etc) and some sort of plug-in option so we can add new languages/frameworks for code autocomplete (such as jQuery Mobile, YUI etc).

Since 2009 but, before that, I was using RapidPHP. WeBuilder is really neat.

As I was upgrading to Webuilder2014, I found order #'s that go back to WeBuilder2005...before that was using HTMLPad...I have shown professional web programmers this program...and I do believe some have bought...beats the hell out of Dreamweaver, never could figure that program out...

I am a programer and from 2 years I am using webuilder. It is a quick and lightweight yet very powerful web developer's editor with support for HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc. It is very useful and effective. We can say it as a Quick code editor for web developers and I will recommend this to all you guys.

Thanks

I'm using Webuilder and really like it. Would like to add a search box at the top of my page for viewers to be able to find /jump to names quickly (only on that one page, not the entire website). I know browsers all have that feature built in but few know how to use it. Do you have such code available or can you suggest where I can get it? Thank you.

I tried to find something like that but no luck. I think that the reason for that is what you already mentioned - browsers already have this functionality. If you make something like that by hand, this plugin might be helpful: https://github.com/riklomas/quicksearch

Hi Ainsley

After a quick web search, and trying a couple and finding that most don't work in Internet Explorer I found this one that works in IE, Firefox & Chrome, and is still being maintained.
