Is there any way to create your menu and sub-menus with a transparent background? I haven't been able to figure out how to do that.

Submenus can be half-transparent, but not fully transparent (it would make menus unusable).

On the Misc tab enable Menu transparency.

I thought if I made a png or gif image for a custom button at least the part around the image would be transparent (like if I made a sketchy button shape with a tiny bit of transparency around the edge so that it's not a rectangle) But all that happens is that the transparent part turns white.

I am still having trouble with this issue...any suggestions? I emailed my latest transparent button file last week, but didn't get a response. Would love to figure this one out...I've got a website I'm working on just waiting for it's menu :)

Factoring the summer and vacation time, it will take several weeks or a month till we analyze the buttons you have submitted. Nothing is forgotten. I'll try to escalate your request.

Thanks! All it is is a blank button saved as a png in the right height, then width I adjusted within the program for each different menu item. I just wanted the words to show up (because of the layout of my page, the background for the menu was already done in the design)
