Hi Programmers,
I have Popdown-Problems on iPhone and Kindle FireHD using the Menu.
If theTopMenu Button has a link, then its not possible to open the popdown 2nd Level menu and walk through the list popped down...
Most of times i directly changing to the page link under the TopMenu Button...

How can i resolve this behavior??

and in iPhone 3G the 2nd Level Popdwon is not disappearing again...
Your Apple template for example:

or under real world conditions

thanks for help and ideas

The menu isn't able to guess whether user wanted to click the link or open the submenu which is why if menu item has a link then the link is opened on click. The only solution is to not use links for menu items with dropdown menus, I'm not sure if there is anything else that can be done since there is no hovering on iPhone.

Thanks for the answer,

my first work around is to reduce the Level1 Button link to linktext on the target page - so the first hit opens the the target page - and there with the "parameter emptied ... tag just the pulldown container moves in on touching ...with no other action - the user now can select the Level2 items...
