strange behaviour on iOS and Android

the drop down menus work well in Chrome and most other Windows browsers, however on tablets they display poorly and even when they do display (a bit) don't seem to work as expected.
so far I have access to Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS.

I did have a similar issue some year(s) ago which was fixed by upgrading the software. I'm currently using version 4.3.

Adding the menu requires you to copy and paste the menu code and upload menu-related files. One of those files is a JavaScript file mbjsmbmcp.js, which improves the usability on touch devices and iOS. Although you have the <script> tag in the code, the file is not available:

Upload mbjsmbmcp.js file and test again. If you do not have the file anymore, regenerate the menu code, copy & paste the code again and reupload all menu-related files.

many thanks. well spotted. I had uploaded the .js file, but to the wrong directory.
