Plugin: CDNJS v1.0

Postby pmk65 » Tue Jun 30, 2015 10:23 pm

Lookup keyword at cdnjs.com and add latest JavaScript to document

Example Screencapture video:

Installation:
1) Download plugin .ZIP file.
2) Open WeBuilder and select "Plugins -> Manage Plugins" from the menu.
3) Click "Install" and select the .ZIP file you downloaded in step 1.

Usage:
Type in a keyword like "jquery" and activate the plugin.
The plugin will then find the latest verston of jquery at cdnjs.com and replace the keyword with a link to the JavaScript file.

Feedback appreciated. ;)
(I only use WeBuilder, so I haven't tested if it works in HTMLPad, Rapid CSS or Rapid PHP.)

This is great!

For the next update could you please set it to always load the scripts via HTTPS as recommended by CDNJS. This is safer, has no downsides and would also mean that they load when developing locally! :-)

Try unchecking the "Remove http: part from url" checkbox in the plugins options and see if that doesn't solve your problem ;)

Hey PMK65 - cool. that works. I guess the checkout should say "Remove https: part from url" - and would be cool if this was unchecked by default.
Your plugins are great - would be cool if they could be browsed, downloaded and updated directly from within WeBuilder.

I agree and I'm about to sort this out.
