fix inconsistent behavior of Extended Clipboard

Post by johnson »

Open any file in RapidPHP and then open Extended Clipboard. Now set Extended Clipboard to Auto Hide. Now click Clickboard it will open Clipboard window after that click on Clear All button in Extended Clipboard, Extended Clipboard will automatically hide. Extended Clipboard should only hide when click outside. This is inconsistent behavior of Extended Clipboard. It should be fixed!

Hi! The reason this happens is that clicking Clear All focuses the text editor area, which makes Extended Clipboard pane lose focus, and that's why it closes if set to Auto Close. This behavior (setting focus to editor) is much more convenient than leaving the clipboard focused because normally you will want to continue editing your document after clearing the clipboard. That's why it was decided to leave the current behavior unchanged.
