We are curently working on version 2010, there will be no version 2009.

We hope to get it ready this summer.

There will be at least 4 month free upgrade period for those who bought the old version.

The free upgrade is for all 2009 owners or just those who bought within the last nth months?

There is no version 2009. The free upgrade is only for purchasers of v2008 who purchased their copy four months prior to the release of v2010.
So, if you buy 2008 now, this will not entitle you to a free upgrade. However, when the v2010 is released, if you hold a previous version (regardless of when purchased) you are entitled to upgrade for a significant discount.

Just a note. ;) As Karlis said, we plan to have the version 2010 ready this summer. This means, that with great chances anybody who buys now, will receive a free upgrade.

1) If you buy now, you will get 2010 for free it is a promise.
2) You will get 2010 free if you bought older version in May, April or March too.

We will try to offer upgrade options that let you save more while providing the necessary contribution to sustain the development and keep regular updates.
