WeBuilder 2006 (7.0) - Find in Files...

Postby ebarstad » Wed Mar 15, 2006 8:05 pm

In WeBuilder 2006 (7.0), if I do a search using "Find in Files" and the list of files comes up in the "Messages" pane, sometimes when I click on the file listed in the "Messages" pane, the file will open in the editor but will not take me to the searched-for term, just to the beginning of the opened file. In 2005, this worked as it should, taking me to the highlighted search term.

This happens inconsistently, usually when multiple files contain the search term. But not all the files respond the same way. Some, when clicked, will sake me to the search term, while others won't.

Hold the phone: I just checked my "find in files" settings. When "Display detailed results" is checked, I get the random errors. When it's unchecked, everything seems fine.

Hi Karlis,

I was searching through WordPress files, which can be downloaded at wordpress.org. Since unchecking the "Display detailed results" box, I haven't had any problems.
