Question about auto complete / intellisense

Postby azbok » Mon Oct 30, 2006 3:54 am

Is it just me, or does the intellisense not pick up user defined PHP functions? Also it doesn't always pick up $this-> completion within classes. Some classes it works with and others it doesn't. It doesn't do full class specification completion either, such as MyClass::myfunction.

I've noticed that it isn't context sensitive with respect to the completion either. What I mean is if you are outside of a class and type $this then it picks up variables defined in the class that's in the file.

Other than that, it seems like a great product. I'm evaluating version 7.3.0.69

Currently auto-completion for class members is not supported, we will try to add this in the next major version.

Hints should be supported for user defined functions (if function defined in the same file).
