possibly a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway :) : How do I enter @ in for example a mail address? I kept getting the heading 2 brackets..a bit annoying.

Seems you are not using standard US keyboard/layout. To disable shortcut for heading 2 tag, go to Options -> Keyboard Shortcuts, select the H2 command and remove the shortcut. @ key should become available after you do this.
