HTML Pad - Auto Replace

HTML Pad Vers. 5.25 Pro (5.2.5.40)

At "Options/Preferences=>TextEditor=>Auto Replace " I inserted several pairs of character - entity values (for example: Ć„ Ä - Ć¼ ü ...).
The "Auto Replace" does only succeed, if there is a blankett before the special character or it's the first character in the line AND I add a space after this character.
Have I made a mistake or is this a bug?

This is how Auto Correct works. Auto Correct is for correcting words (words are separated with spaces or newlines). You can not use Auto Correct for modifying structure of particular word. Auto Correct also allows to speed up typing. For example, you can set up it that you must type a few characters instead of whole word.

BUT you have a good point here, I'll think about posible improvements to this feature. Thanks!
