First and foremost, I'm a huge fan of Homesite 4.5 (before Adobe), and I've been scouring the internet for a newer coding interface that can compete with it. After testing almost a dozen of them, WeBuilder looks to be the best thing out there by far.
Currently, I'm using a Trial version of WeBuilder 2010 v10.2 (10.2.0.121).
Of the greatest interest to me right now, is the syntax highlighting. Some may call it a crutch, but I've almost become dependent on Homesite's ability to change the background colors of different types of code within one file or buffer. Having javascript one background color, php another, and html the default white, just makes reading all that inline code so much easier.
However, I've come across a small problem in defining custom colors for the syntax highlighting:
Options > Preferences...
Text Editor > Colors
Color Selection Dropdown > More Colors...
The preset colors are the only ones I can accurately use, as any "custom colors" I define are lost. Clicking, "add to custom colors," does make the colors appear in the "custom colors" section, but the next time I open that color picker, any that were set are now gone.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
