PHP Code hints only work in *.php not *.html?

Postby printmkr » Thu Jun 30, 2005 7:25 am

I have my web server parsing html pages for PHP code. (I did not want to rename and relink a bunch of existing pages just to use PHP code in them.) But I notice I lose all the PHP code hints (Shift + Control + Space) in the *.html files. Is there any way to still be able to use PHP code hints when PHP code is in *.html or *.hrm files? Any help is appreciated!

I am still hoping there is a workaround for this... does anyone know if I go into "Preferences > Document types" and define "html" and "htm" under PHP and NOT "html", I could get PHP Code hints in PHP code in *.html documents? Or would I be screwing up my HTML features? Perhaps I could have "html" listed in both?

FYI - Added "html" and "htm" to Options > Preferences > Document Types > PHP and now have my PHP Coding hints in html and htm files, and apparently no ill effects :)
