Bug: Pressing . in URL selector causes crash

Postby chrisjlocke » Mon Sep 05, 2005 2:26 pm

Using WeBuilder. If I start doing an HTML link, weBuilder pops up the "Choose URL" popup window. I think I was doing some php at the time, so needed to type "./myfile.htm" As I typed the full stop, weBuilder displayed the 'ok, what URL do you want?' dialog. Upon clicking Cancel (as I didn't want it) weBuilder crashed with an "Access violation at address..." error. In fact, I believe it just closed down - further tests to reproduce give the access violation error.

Its no biggie, as the "Choose URL" can easily be cancelled before typing a full stop, but thought I'd let you know about it.

More detailed? Thought the steps to reproduce were OK!

Anyway. I've created a Wink SWF 'presentation' using the freeware Wink program.

(126k .swf) You'll need Macromedia Flash Player to view it.

If you need further details, please ask.

(And in case you're wondering, the '.' is used in php a lot, when you want to use "./myfile.php" for example)
