delete all occurrences of word from more than one line

Hi there,

If I mark / highlight a word than it is blue and orange becomes every same word in other lines, okay?!
What is the option if I wonna delete all of these wirds in every row? I tried STRG ALT andin combionation plus DEL ... but nothing did what I wanted. :?: :( :roll: :?:

1) Select word.
2) Press CTRL-R
3) Set the "Replace with" to nothing.
4) Click "Replace All"
