PHP code appearing as normal black text.

Postby ccss » Fri Aug 19, 2016 11:33 am

I'm using Windows 10 and Rapid PHP 14.1

When I load up my php scripts into rapid php, the scripti comes up as just normal text all in plain black. The files are all saved with the extenstion php5 and I think that is why it is not detecting them. I don't know if this is a requirement for the server to save the file as php5, but at the time I understood it was so don't want to change the extension. So what I want to do is open the files with the php5 extension and see text as a php program.

You need to setup/enable .php5 files as PHP files.

Under "Options > Preferences > Document Types > PHP"
Add "php5" to the PHP file extensions.

Under "Options > Preferences > Files > Open Dialog"
Add "*.php5" to the PHP file types.

Under "Options > Preferences > Files > Save Dialog"
Add a new "PHP5 script (*.php5)" key with "*.php5" as wildcard.
