CSS Inspector to list all tags?

Postby purpleedge2004 » Wed Nov 02, 2005 4:41 am

Is there a way to list the names of all css tags in the current css file in the "Inspector" somehow?

If not, it would be a nice feature for the next version

- especially if it listed all tags alphabetically

- and if clicking on the tag name located the tag in the current document.

TIA

I am not sure what do you mean by CSS tags? Tags are only in HTML.

Now if you mean rules like "color" and "padding", these are currently grouped / categorized. In version 2006 you will be able to have them all in a single, sorted list.

If you mean CSS selectors - you can view them in Code Explorer.

I'm looking for a method to locate the definitions of an #id, or .class, that doesn't involve using the search facility.

I would love a list of all id's and classes that the css file has defined, preferably in alphabetical order, on a separate tab in the Inspector. Clicking on the name of an id, or class, in the inspector would locate the definition, in the code, on the left of the screen - in the editor.

The properties for that id, or class, would be on a separate tab in the Property Inspector. (And in the code of course)

(Like in DreamWeaver <g>)
