Live Screensaver goes black while running for awhile.

I'm having a problem where my live screensavers go black/blank while running for a while, and it doesn't come back again.

Not sure if it is the same problem, but here is a solution for a problem with similar symptoms:

My monitor came with it's energy save option already set as on and to blackout after 20 minutes. I turned off energy saver to see if it helped. It solved the problem.
