Transparent screensaver

Postby nhl » Thu Jan 14, 2016 3:35 pm

I am using SF v6.7 and would like create a SS with transparent background showing the desktop.
I add an image (.png) with transparent background (24bits), but when I create the SS, I have a solid background color (by default, it is black).
How can I disable the background color in order to show the desktop behind the image ?

The problem with transparent screensavers is that Microsoft has disabled transparency since Windows 8. Your screensaver will be transparent when you preview but not when it runs on computer idle. If you want to try anyway, use Background -> Background image -> use Desktop as Background.
