lack of font recognition

Postby dhamphir » Sat Dec 21, 2013 11:27 am

I just upgraded from Easy GIF Animator 5 to Easy GIF Animator 6. I like the changes and inprovements. However, when I go to add text to the animated icons and banners I've created, the program no longer recognized 98-99% of the fonts I have. This makes the program all but useless to me. If I try to add animated text, the program does recognize the different front. Perhaps because that interface has not been changed.

Please tell me how to either get version 6 to recognize and use my fonts, or how I can go back to using version 5 until this bug is fixed.

Thanks.

Thank you for letting us know. For now I can't reproduce this problem. Do you mean the fonts are not listed in the font selection or when you select them nothing happens? Can you give an example of some specific font so that we can test it?

You can still get version 5 from http://download.blumentals.net/egifan5. You can install it along version 6. Maybe we could have a better understanding of the problem if you posted screenshots from both versions that illustrate the difference.

Once we figure out the issue we will fix it.

Thank you for the quick reply.

What I mean to convey, was that if I wanted to use a font, say Arkona-regular, it would still appear as Arial when I selected and applied it while using Easy GIF Animator 6. (screen shot here: Image ), instead of applying the correct font like it does in version 5 (screenshot: Image
