Save As .scss defaults to .htm

Postby mt2ri » Thu Feb 18, 2016 9:59 pm

I'm working a lot with SASS in WeBuilder - I'm able to use: File/New ... and select the option SASS CSS

This allows me to work on a new file named: untitled.scss, but when I do 'Save As', there is not a corresponding .scss listing at the bottom of the screen under the 'Save as type' drop down selection list, so WeBuilder defaults to the first type in the list .htm - this ends up adding a couple of steps to the process of saving my .scss files the first time or when renaming a file I'm working on.

Is there a way to easily add the .scss file type for 'save as type' open for the Save As command?

There is a workaround for this I think. In the filename textbox, type "<file_name>.scss". Type the double quotes.

Hmm, I just tested and it does select .scss by default. What version do you have? What do you have in Options -> Preferences -> Document Types -> SASS -> SASS file extensions?

Yes, I did a reinstall & it is working - save as .scss is there. Thanks for looking into this. I'm wondering if when I did the original install, and the program asked what file types to associate with WeBuilder, I didn't select . scss in that step. When I do 'save as' now, I have many more options. Thanks again! I'm all set.
