I've added tpl to the html-documenttype as told in my first request.
It didn't work.

Now I've added the tpl extension as php-documenttype and the preview is now correct :-)

Preview of *.tpl files

PHP template files (HTML-code with the extension *.tpl) should be handled like *.html in the preview, when the extensions is registered as HTML document type in tools/preferences (see Alleycode HTML editor). In WeBuilder it works while editing, but in the preview there is always plain text visible ...

Many thanks for your response. I've tried to add *.tpl to the "Files of Type", but it doesn't help. It's the problem of the extension. IE always show's *.tpl files as plain text. In Alleycode, a free HTML-editor, the extension of the temporary file for the preview is changed to "html", so that it's ...

preview of *.tpl files

I'm using HTML-code-snippets as php-templates with the extension *.tpl (similar to Smarty).
I have added the extension as html-documenttype. So I can edit this type like html, but I can't preview, because the document is always shown as plain text.

How can I change this behavior?
