Crashes with TextShaper.dll
I am suddenly getting crashes of Webuilder 2022 (17.7.0.248) running Windows 11 home (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631) relating to system32\textshaping.dll (10.0.22621.3085) which seems to have been updated on 24/1/24. I've checked that the file exists and is the latest and SFC doesn't report any ...

Re: Error in auto replace and Text-Shadow-Box ...
I've also noticed that auto-replace from &space to &space doesn't work.

changelogs?
I've performed a quick search but can't find details of what changes are included in the latest version of 2014.
I'm running 12.0.0.144 and before I upgrade to 12.0.0.146 I would like to see what has changed.
cheers
Robert

Re: Version 2014 in development
Personally, I very pleased to hear of the big changes announced in the next version. I have been using Webuilder for many years now (ever since HotDog crumbled) and have become used to using it but increasingly disillusioned with such old documentation especially regarding CSS and HTML options etc ...

Re: How to point to my own Help Files
I don't know if it's the same in RapidPHP as it is in Webuilder but you can specify the location of the PHP file under Options/Preferences/PHP Settings. However, although it opens the PHP help file if I use the link under Help/PHP Reference everything works fine but using F1 for 'Help on current ...

Re: print selection doesn't work
Hi Karlis, I too have noticed this problem for quite some time now. I just tried it with the 2010 version but it is still the same - printing the whole file when I only asked for a selection. I also just tried to only print 'pages 1 to 1' to get a single page and it still printed all pages. As ...

Re: Do I have correct Help File??
I realise the last post on this subject was some time ago but I wondered whether the help files (css, html, php) distributed with WeBuilder (9.5.2.106) were still the only ones that could be published 'Royalty free' or whether any of them had been updated and just not included with the later ...

Save list of open files when changing projects
Would it be possible to keep a note of all the files currently being edited within a project and, as an option, when a different project is selected, all of those tabs close and are replaced by the files from the newly opened project? i.e. if I am editing 'project1' and have index.php, page1.php and ...

Re: PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
OK, thanks for the various help. It's sorted now and I'm pleased to say it wasn't WeBuilder that was causing the problems but the configuration of PHP. No idea why it worked under 2007 and not under 2008 but hey-ho. It seemed to be caused whenever a change to a file was made and for some reason this ...

Re: PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
Any more advice on this matter please?
It's still causing the same problems and now I'm running the latest versions of php (which did cause a number of other failures on other sites and took a couple of hours to sort out!)
Or am I going to have to stick to 2007?
cheers for your help.

Re: PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
OK, reluctantly, I've now reloaded both PHP and WeBuilder 2008 but it's still the same. (PHP reluctantly because I know everything - except weBuilder - appears to be working fine.) It's still the same - WebBuilder 2007 works OK. 2008 still throws the same error. It happens as soon as a line is added ...

Re: PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
I haven't tried that but why do you think that would help when everything else (all of my websites etc.) are working perfectly OK? The error occurs as soon as I make any changes to a PHP file - even just inserting a newline (CR). I have gone back to version 2007 of WeBuilder and the problem doesn't ...

Re: PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
Thanks Chris,
I have thought about upgrading PHP but I've heard that 5.2.6 has quite a few bugs on windows so don't want to break anything else at the moment.
As I said, it all worked fine under WeBuilder 2007.
thanks
Robert

PHP Startup error message in 9.0.0.97
Hello, Since upgrading to version 9.0.0.97 the other day, when I am editing some files, I get pop-up messages saying: "PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library "php_mysql.dll' - The specified procedure could not be found." and "The procedure entry point mysql_set_character_set could not be ...

toggle case problem in version 8.2.0.79
Not sure if this is by design but using 'Edit/Change Character Case/Toggle Character Case (Shift F3) on a highlighted range seems to just convert the string to UPPERCASE e.g. I would expect "a tEST sENTENCE" to become "A Test Sentence" but both "a tEST sENTENCE" and "A test sentence" both become "A ...
