Hi Karlis - I noticed that setting in the Preferences, but I'm not using split-screen when it happens. It's also not in exactly the same intervals. It ranges anywhere from a few seconds to 10 seconds it seems - and sometimes it won't do it for 60 seconds - although that's rare it takes that long to ...

Hourglass Every Few Seconds
I'm using Rapid PHP and every few seconds (sometimes 3, sometimes 10) the mouse turns to an hourglass for 1-2 seconds. I've verified in the Windows Processes list that during this time, Rapid jumps from about 2% of usage to 15-20%. I'm running a Pentium D with 2GB of RAM, so I don't think the ...

For things I do regularly, it would be ideal to allow remote files to be edited within a project. For instance, you would still have the local/ftp folders defined in the project - but instead of working locally, you could work directly on the FTP. For devlopment servers this saves the time to upload ...

Project Tree View
Bug or New Feature Request? When viewing a Project, I personally like the tree view, however, if I have to go to the local viewer or FTP - when I come back to my Project tree view, it's all collapsed! This is fustrating, especially for files that are a few levels deep or more... If this is not a bug ...

Hi Karlis, I hadn't tried this before, but I tried connecting using MySQL GUI and could not connect. So, I did a bunch of hunting arround and found the following: In your my.cnf file (typically in /etc) - you need to comment out the line that reads "skip-networking" After doing this, I was allowed ...

Project Manager Issues
1.) Is there a way to be able to view file types within the file explorer? I can't find any setting that may do this. Right now, for instance, I can see "index" but instead I want it to read "index.php". While in FTP Manager, I can see this, just not in the project manager. 2.) I'm wondering if ...

Karlis, Thanks for the quick reply. The user I'm using to connect to MySQL can access the database using any host. I am at work right now, so a firewall may be preventing the connection through the specific port. I'll try from home tonight where I have control over my firewall and report back what I ...

SQL Setup
Hi, I'm a new user still evaluating the software. I'm having trouble with errors while setting up a SQL connection. It's a MySQL database on a remote server. I'm assuming that I should be able to do this, instead of setting up a local database. I've also downloaded and installed the correct database ...
