This is not an issue of upgrading from 2005 to 2006. This issue involves updating the v2006. ie.. from 7.01 to 7.1. After installing, it walks you through the setup wizard. It defaults to all the settings you had configured, EXCEPT for the web settings described above. It always reverts back to c ...

HyrumR... Thanks for the info.. I had not see that (blind as bat sometimes).

I changed the function hint to CTRL+SHIFT+.
And the autocomplete to CTRL+. (was CTRL+Space), so they are consitant with each other.

Then moved the &nbsp to CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE

Works great!!

Yep, I'd use it.. for sure.. but not hurting w/o it. Currently I use MySql browser but it's not real stable. i'll have to try out some of those others that were mentioned. But would be nice to have it all in one tool. The other stand-alone sql tools are great and have much more functionality, but ...

I tend to not like code formatters.. i have some pretty strange quirks about formatting code. sometimes the "right" method of formatting and indentation doesn't look as good. I much prefer to format the code the way I want it.

Editing Features

This is my last group of feature requests. They have to do with Editing. Better code collasping. Perhaps have the editor recognize specific comments, such as //Begin Section [SectionName] and //End Section [SectionName] and have it automatically create a collapsable section between them only showing ...

SQL Browser Features

Here's my secong group of requests that relate to the SQL Browser. Make SQL Browser window non-modal. Would be nice if we could keep the SQL browser window open and still be able edit files. Be able to update/insert/delete data using the SQL Browser (can live w/o it, but would be very helpful). Be ...

File Management Features

I've now had a chance to try out RapidPHP and WeBuilder. This is such an awsome editor, I went purchased WeBuilder after just two days of using the trial version. After using WeBuilder working on porting ASP code to PHP, I've come up with a list of Feature Requests. This is the first group that all ...

Oops.. i posted a question about this in the feature request forum before I saw this.. I also think that new windows should open in the same mode that current windows are in (or the last known mode). No need for an option. I don't even mind that it's always maximized the first time when you first ...

I was able to connect to a remote mysql database from RPHP. Didn't do anything special.. I had been using MySQL Query Browser to access it remotely.

Turning off Auto-Maximize

I couldn't find a way to do this and didn't see anything else posted about it, so if i'm missing something, please let me know.. Most of the time when programming, I don't have the MDI windows maximized. But everytime I open a new file, it opens maximized. so then I have to again hit the windows ...
