Perl Intellisense - and others

Would it be (is it already) possible to make the code completion customisable. Ie allow users to create their own .ini files for their language of choice. I've just had to pick up a job in Perl (never having used it before) and found Notepad++ gave the most help to a newbie. It would have been nice ...

ASP Intellisense

Greetings all. I'd like to add my continuing praise for the most user-friendly web editor on the planet! I'd also like to add my vote for the ASP code-completion request. I work in ASP (VBS), C# and PHP. So full language support for ASP would really be the icing on the cake. Keep up the good work ...

Full path in window title bar ..... YES!

Seeing the full path writ large and clear is exactly what I wanted to see!
A small but monumentally important change. Thank you.

Ctrl+Del

Is there a reason why Ctrl+Del doesn't behave as expected by deleting 1-word chunks at a time. Ctrl+Y, I notice, behaves in a standard way by deleting a line or lines. Why not Ctrl+Del?

Hmmmm

Re Code Compare

I agree with certain posters that full file comparison is perhaps going beyond the remit of an HTML/PHP editor (it would be a lot of work to compete with KDIFF for example). That said, I quite often open two versions of the same page and select tile vertically to look at the two files. When working ...

DOM Tree View

When you're working on a long and complex page it would help to be able to traverse the DOM tree. Double click on a node and go straight to it in the code.

Code completion and count for 'Replace' in WeBuilder

Let's make the best editor better! Couple of things bug me from time to time. 1. Code completion for PHP could go a bit further. I use Quanta when working on Linux and save a lot of time looking up function names because if I type 'odb..' and then hit ctrl+space, I get a drop-down of all the odbc ...

PHP etc

Working in several 'languages' I don't even bother trying to code from memory a lot of the time. This is why being able to double-click a tag and its attributes and have them appear in the editor is so cool. A joy to use! I never have to check the syntax. I know the tag is well formed and that the ...

Displaying full path on-screen

Hi Can I just second the request for the full path to be displayed down on the status bar or even up on the title bar. Essential when you're back-tracking on site versions and you have two files with the same name open. Otherwise a lovely ergonomically sound environment that is a pleasure to use. I ...
