Re: I.E. 8 work arounds
It seems IE 8 is here to stay, so how about a work around to prevent the Active X warnings. ?? I'm not an affiliate, is there something in the menu code that can be dealt with to avoid the double warnings? Thanks much, Would like to use the application I bought. ipster I only get the warnings when ...

Re: Trend for Large Dropdown menus
WOW....that diy.com site had more links on ONE menu than I have pages for my sites
There definitely can be as many links on the drop downs but I guess putting them in multiple columns would be cool too

Re: Menu bar width
It seems like its pretty much a WYSIWYG interface.
I mean, when Im working on the menu and get it as I like it its always output it exactly the same as its showing in the preview.
Not sure if that answers your question or not

Re: Awesome software !
Agreed, it's an awesome menu program and validates CSS but there's more to life than validation. Validation is way down on the list of most web designers other than the code heads which are a minority also. No pun intended, it's just the way is. Blumentals is on 90% of my sites I manage ...

Re: Joomla 1.5 Compatible
Its definitely Wordpress compatible. Seems like as long as the files and code are all in the right places that it would work with just about anything

Re: Links on drop down menu
How about with a Bookmark? Im not overly sure. I looked a bit, but Im pretty new to the software myself...but I dont see either as a option. I know anchors can be created with html, but not so sure about the software having it as a option, which is one reason I stopped using software to build my ...

Re: Horizontal Menu w/Drop Downs
Looks like I got it working. Perhaps a cache issue as I believe I did this before and may have changed it too soon. I updated the script file to reference /site/menus/ and slowly the images appeared. As of now it is working. I have, at times, had a real problem with the ftp server getting things ...

Re: Submenu width
I think I've been awake too long, but for the life of me, I cannot find where to specify the width of my submenus. I'm obsessive/compulsive and feel the need for all submenus to be the same width, no matter how long the text inside, not to mention a submenu that widens when a rollover expands it to ...

Re: There is a trojan virus
There is a trojan virus that keeps redirecting my page to a different site? I recently had a virus in my computer and I got rid of most of the virus. The only thing that is left now is that there is a trojan that keeps redirecting my google pages to different sites. Please, can anyone tell me how ...

Re: Menu Not staying in place
Hello, So I just installed the menu bar and its fantastic! It was a great fix after spending weeks trying to code a working drop down menu and failing. The only problem I found was that it moves left to fit the size screen of the user. I need it to stay in line with the body, so what code would I ...

Re: problem in IE
I tried adding the style to the surrounding div tag, and to all the styles int he CSS file. The dropdown is still hidden behind part of the page on the forum. What else can I try? I think I saw a tip here on this forum to move just the <script> .....</script> code (just the one line, I think) for ...

I put it in the div that your navigation is in.mainship wrote:Thank you, but where did you add it?
It may or may not work....ie the drop downs will still fall behind some things like a pdf thats showing in an iframe.

Re: problem in IE
We just changed our menu a bit. The new one is giving us problems in IE 7 and IE 8. We haven't tested it in older versions of IE. We have a forum by vbulletin. On the forum page part of the dropdown menu is hidden behind part of the forum. Has anyone else run into partially hidden drop down menus ...

Re: Awesome software !
Also wanted to say that I found it pretty cool that the generated html file actually validated XHTML Transitional. There were two errors with Strict, but thats pretty darned good. The other software I was using to build webpages that did the menu for me would have a dozen errors minimum for just ...
