i'm on the latest version as I just purchased 30 days ago.

i figured out the problem, it's with AVI files.

i converted ALL my avi's to wmf's, and the program does not hang anymore.
3 different pc's ran all night with the wmf change, so problem solved.

i have tested on multiple pc's, and the problem is the same, a blank screen after about 1hr of run time. the pc power down modes are NOT on, so this is not the problem. i have read that other people also have had this problem, but I have not seen a solution to the problem. this is a major problem ...
